Sprint Round - This is a minute multiple choice round consisting of thirty questions. Students may not use calculators on this round. Target Round - Four pairs of problems are administered, and students have 6 minutes to complete each pair.

Students violating any rules may be subject to immediate disqualification. Your state or chapter coordinator will be notified of your registration, and then you will be informed of the date and location of your Chapter Competition. Coordinator contact information is available in the Find My Coordinator search tool. The sooner your registration form is received, the sooner you will receive your preparation materials and online access. No cancellations or refund requests will be processed after February 1, This fee does not apply to schools that reduce their number of registered students but remain registered with at least one student.

Eligibility Requirements. A school can register a maximum of 1 team of 4 students and 6 individuals; these student s will represent the school at the Chapter Competition. Any number of students can participate at the school level. Prior to the Chapter Competition, coaches must notify their chapter coordinator of which students will be team members and which students will compete as individuals.

Members of a school team will participate in the Target, Sprint and Team Rounds. Members of a school team also will be eligible to qualify for the Countdown Round where conducted.

It is recommended that your strongest 4 Mathletes form your school team. Only 1 team of up to 4 students per school is eligible to compete. Students registered as individuals will participate in the Target and Sprint Rounds, but not the Team Round.
